Welcome to Swissuniversity. This web site has been developed with two content access modalities: visual and oral.
You are now browsing with the visual modality. If you are listening to the web site, you can change the modality and access the oral one, following the next link.
Access to the oral modality of the web site.Accessibility means allowing users with special needs to experience a web site in an acceptable way. Several countries, in and outside Europe, have adopted a set of mandatory rules for making web sites accessible to a broader variety of users.
The W3C consortium supervising the WWW has issued a set of guidelines that need to be followed. However, these are not sufficient to guarantee optimal results in terms of understanding a site’s contents.
Swissuniversity website intends to promote in Switzerland a stronger attention to disadvantaged users, by trying to make its own web communication increasingly accessible. We have started by taking especially into account visually impaired users, and we intend to proceed with other user categories.
